One of the not so well known car jumbles is situated along the autoroute between Bruxelles and Paris. Usually late in spring and with lots of vintage cars and for many more important spares. This 1926 Panhard x47 coupe, briliantly unrestored, was by far the most charming proposition at FFR 80.000. The x stands for the unusual gearchange pattern.(photo editor)...

Thank you Stefan Brown for correcting us! It must be 'Floating Power' instead of the earlier mentioned 'Fluid Drive', which was Chrysler's name for a fluid coupler between engine and transmission, licenced by Daimler in 1938/39. ...

A Bugatti Diesel ???
Believe it or not, and despite it's size it still is no poor man's Bugatti. It's quite a famous model from the fifties which you also can find in Robert Ames' book 'VINTAGE MINIATURE RACING CARS'. De diesel engine is a .35 CI. The car was auctioned at Ebay. (photo Kirk F. White)...
