A 1951 Armstrong-Siddeley Hurricane DHC.
Blue and black with blue interior.
Armstrong-Siddeley was a manufacturer of high-quality motoring and aviation products. The Company was the first British manufacturer to offer a new model after WWII. These cars included the drop-head coupe, named the Hurricane.
This later 18hp model with a 2.3L, six-cylinder OHV engine was purchased from the previous owner at the NEC Classic Car Show in 2010. The car was fully restored and included an overdrive unit. Driven to the Rampart Races at Angouleme in France in 2014, the Hurricane is a useful and relaxed long-distance tourer.
