The engine was completely rebuilt in 2026 by a renowned BMW specialist and is in outstanding condition. It is fully operational, ready for immediate installation, and can be used without any further technical work.
The engine can be tested on a test bench prior to purchase. Extensive photographic documentation of the engine during disassembly and rebuilding is available, along with records of the work performed. A detailed restoration and work report can be provided upon request.

• Crankshaft rod journals in original specification – Ø 50 mm
• Crankshaft main bearing journals in original specification – Ø 60 mm
• Crankshaft professionally balanced; balancing certificate available
• Cylinder liners in original specification – Ø 81.96 mm
• Clutch completely renewed, including pilot bearing in the crankshaft for the gearbox input shaft – Ø 15 mm
