A true icon of BMW Motorsports, the BMW E46 CSL needs no introduction as it is arguably the best M3 model to have ever been produced by BMW. The legendary status of this model is only made that more special as well cared for examples continue to skyrocket in values. First registered on 15th October 2003, this BMW 3.0 CSL is presented in attractive grey coachwork and is offered from a private collection. Having had six former keepers from new, the car has clearly been enjoyed and maintained throughout its life while remaining a highly desirable example of one of BMW's most revered performance models. Previous owners have played their part in maintaining the car to a very high standard and ensuring all key works have been carried out at the right intervals. A detailed spreadsheet of works carried out since February 2007 will form part of the service history.
The car is reported to be in good condition throughout, with the exterior presenting well and retaining the purposeful appearance that has made the CSL such an enduring icon among enthusiasts. The interior is similarly well kept, offering a clean and inviting environment that complements the car's sporting character. Offered from enthusiast ownership within a private collection, this example benefits from careful stewardship and presents as a well-preserved and usable modern classic. Its service history file dates back to February 2007 with previous MoT’s and Tax Disc’s. Its understated grey finish suits the model particularly well, highlighting the CSL's distinctive styling and motorsport-inspired design. Increasingly sought-after by collectors and marque enthusiasts alike, the BMW 3.0 CSL remains one of the most celebrated performance cars of its generation. This well-presented example comes complete with its history file including the current V5 registration document, extensive sundry bills, a current MoT test crtificate valid until June 2027 showing no advisories and an original M3 CSL leather wallet. The service history is all documented in an exclusive M3 CSL ring binder with a personalised VIN Number, only available to CSL Owners.
The BMW benefits from new brake discs and pads throughout and is also fitted with Michelin tyres all having covered less than 2,000 miles. A minor oil service was carried out at the beginning of July 2026 by Darren Wood BMW Specialist although it wasn’t required as the car had hardly covered any mileage since its last service back in June 2024. Showing circa 72,800 miles from new this example offers an opportunity to acquire a desirable UK registered car from private ownership, ready to be enjoyed by its next custodian.
