Hugo Modderman writes: "In 1960 my father picked up two hitchhikers on the road from Oldenzaal to Arnhem (The Netherlands) with his dark grey Mercedes-Benz 300 Adenauer. One of them left his black glove in the car. Those days weren't very abundant and the glove was highly valued by him. He didn't know who my father was, but he did know in which area he lived. He wrote the above letter, which reached my father who sent him the glove. Those were the days!"
