Next week, September 13th, is the birthday of the World’s number 1 storyteller: Roald Dahl. His stories made an unforgettable contribution to the bedtimes of many millions of children. Events to celebrate his birthday are planned all over the UK, and even beyond. But what’s not on the events-list is your chance to buy Roald Dahl’s favorite wheels: the BMW 732i he bought new from a dealership in High Wycombe, Bucks in 1982. It will be auctioned by Historics at Brooklands on September 25th - with 20% of the profits going to Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity - but before that date you can see the BMW at a garden opening at Gipsy House -Roald Dahl’s former home- in Great Missenden, on the 12th September as part of the Roald Dahl day celebrations the following day.
