About Borgward and what makes a collector tick

Shortly after the factory had to close its doors in 1962, Bert Haan from Holland bought his first Borgward. Sometime later he had to sell it, but always kept an affection for the marque. So in 1994 he bought another one, an Isabelle coupé. Bert liked it so much he bought another one. An another one. And yet another one. Fast becoming a dedicated collector, he now has a whole yard full of them, one of all models that Borgward ever made, from a 1957 Hansa 1500, a TS coupé that once belonged to movie star Lana Turner, to a 1961 2300.
