Yes, we are true lovers of antique and classic cars, but when we saw this magic carousel our heart just opened up! It’s a professionally-built, custom made 50-foot carousel complete with a Wurlitzer organ. The attention to detail is magnificent, from the stained glass to the three-row menagerie of 42 animals, each of which is professionally carved. The organ is of the rare double-tracker variety, which allows for nonstop play. It’s part of the famous Milhous collection, but now it’s for sale! It will be auctioned by RM in association with Sotheby’s on February 24-25 in Florida. Unfortunately the carousel doesn’t fit in our back garden, but perhaps in yours? No? Then there’s also lots of automobiles to admire!
