This American Apollo was a small-production sports car powered by 3½-litre or 5-litre V8 Buick engines. The sports two-seater or GT coupé bodies were hand-made in Italy. The name was changed to Vetta Ventura in 1964, and manufacture shifted to Dallas, Texas, where it lasted at least into 1966. About 90 Apollo cars were made.
