The only car ever to have been produced for sale in the Isle of Man, the Peel car is a very light 3-wheeler. The original model, the Peel P50, was one of the smallest cars ever made, with a single-seater coupé body the Peel P50 was only 4ft 5in long, and the Peel P50 had a 49cc DKW engine. After the Peel P50, the later Trident Peel car had two seats in tandem, and an electric Peel car was tried in 1965. About 100 Peel cars of all types were made(includiding the Peel P50). Subsequently fiberglass coupé bodies by Peel cars were made for BMC Minis.
