The first Sbarro car was a Lola-based super-sports coupé with 5.358cc V8 Chevrolet engine, but in 1973 the Sbarro car company introduced a rear-engined 3-seater built in their new Sbarro car factort. Power of this Sbarro car came either from twin NSU Ro80 Wankel units developing a total of 230bhp or from a single, blown Volkswagen K70 engine.
