After examining several independently designed prototype compact cars from a Detroit firm, the Seagrave car company, long known for its fire-fighting equipment, decided against producting them. One of the Seagrave cars was 13ft long, stood 4ft high and the Seagrave car used a 4-cylinder Continental engine of 65hp.
