They don’t seem to make a lot of noise about it, but Citroën Heritage is selling parts of their collection at their infamous Conservatoire at Aulnay-sous-Bois next month. This as they are planning to team up with Peugeot’s heritage department for a joint PSA museum. More info on that is welcome, too.
Anyway: on the 10th of December 65 of their cars and 90 automobilia lots will be hammered down by French auctioneer Leclere. All of them are said to come from the reserve collection and include a number of Sbarro Citroën prototypes, PreWar vehicles as well as modern classics. But also a down-to-earth Ami 6, a Traction Avant 11 of 1953-vintage and three Méhari 4X4s as seen above. Although no catalogue has been made public yet, estimates for the cars on offer are believed to start at € 1,000. Bids can be made live on the 10th, online through www.drouotlive.com. The catalogue will be available from 20 November from www.leclere-mdv.com.
