Daniel Hadad came across a fascinating photo of a small roadster at an exhibition of vintage photographs from his hometown, Tangier, in northern Morocco. The picture was taken in the city center—interestingly, the Gran Café de Paris seen in the background still stands today.
What caught Daniel's eye was the unusual Tangier license plate, dating back to the city’s international era (1925–1957). He suspects it might be a provisional garage plate. The car itself is a mystery to him—he's never seen this particular model before, and it doesn’t appear to be handmade.
Can anyone identify the make and model of this charming little car? Or perhaps offer a good guess about what it might be based on? A 1949 Crosley Hotshot?
