Enjoy the Beaulieu International Autojumble together again!

Beaulieu: where we can enjoy wonderful days out together. And we can all finally wander the fields again, looking for that one missing item at the famous Beaulieu International Autojumble. Covid is still there and we all have to stick to the guidelines, but let's rejoice in the prospect of the smell of old car oil and bacon and the chance to reunite with old friends.

On the weekend of 4 and 5 September, the iconic International Autojumble returns, having been cancelled last year due to the pandemic. An extra year's worth of collecting and hoarding old cars, bikes and spare parts — surely someone will have something to sell that you just must have?

As said, Covid is unfortunately still hanging over us like the sword of Damocles. And so we must act accordingly. The International Autojumble will be held in a Covid-safe manner. You can read what that means here.

There will be no checks for proof of vaccination or a negative test but the organisation does ask that you think twice if you have symptoms and act wisely.

For people from outside the UK it is a bit more complicated to enjoy the Autojumble, but it is still doable.

Part of the PostWarClassic.com & PreWarCar.com team is from the Netherlands so we have been able to work out what we need to do to get to Beaulieu (which we plan to do) so that others can follow us.

- If you are travelling to the UK, you must show a negative PCR test that is no more than 72 hours old.

- If you have been vaccinated, you do not need to be quarantined. If you have not been fully vaccinated 2 weeks before travel, you must go into self-quarantine.

- Before or on day 2, you have to do a PCR test. The day you arrive is day 0. For example, if you arrive on Thursday 2 September, you will have to do a PCR test on Saturday at the latest.

- Upon your return to Europe, you must show a negative PCR test that is no more than 48 hours old.

- A location that is relatively close to Beaulieu can be found in Southampton.

As you can see it is still possible to visit the International Autojumble, just a bit more difficult than the normal visits but we are sure it will be worth it!
