From warhorse to workhorse

“Will she pull a plow?”… “And how much load can she take?” Lots of questions like these were asked, when after the end of WW II many Jeeps returned from the battlefields and found a new lease of life as a civilian workhorse. This year it’s seventy years ago since the famous Jeep was launched, enough reason for the Walter P. Chrysler Museum to organize a special exhibition about this General Purpose vehicle. Star of the show will be a Willys MA78621, one of approximately 45 known 1941 models in the world, an estimated 20 of which are restored. The exhibition can be seen until the end of this year.
