InterClassics Brussels postponed to November 2021

The sixth edition of InterClassics Brussels, the annual oldtimer fair at Brussels Expo, has been postponed to November 2021. The 75th birthday of Jacky Ickx, still one of the greatest sports icons of all time, would be celebrated during the 2020 edition. However, due to the global outbreak of the corona virus and the continuing uncertainty about further developments, the organisation is forced to postpone the fair to 19, 20 and 21 November 2021.

The programming for the sixth edition of InterClassics Brussels progressed smoothly. The collection of masterpieces for both themes was final and the floor plan was almost complete. The COVID-19 protocol was in place and the fair could take place in a safe and ‘corona-proof’ environment, in line with the guidelines of the Belgian government. Given the expectation that the preventive measures to contain the COVID-19 virus will remain in force for the coming period, including travel restrictions, the organisation cannot guarantee the quality of the fair at this point in time. In consultation with sponsors and stakeholders it has therefore been decided to postpone the fair to November 2021.

“The international course we have set in recent years would be even more evident during the sixth edition of InterClassics Brussels 2020. Never before has the international interest of exhibitors and visitors been so great. An effort that we as a team have worked hard for and are extremely proud of. We look back to 2019 as our best edition ever, but expectations for the 2020 edition were even higher. It is therefore very disappointing that we are forced to make this decision now. I am convinced that next year, together with all partners and relations who remain loyal to us, we will organize the best edition of InterClassics Brussels so far, states Erik Panis – Exhibition Manager InterClassics Brussels.

The 2021 edition of InterClassics Brussels will remain dedicated to celebrating Jacky Ickx’s 75th birthday. The second them ’65 years Elva – the birth of McLaren’and the Noble Auctions auction will also remain on the agenda next year.

The sixth edition of InterClassics Brussels will take place from Friday 19 to Sunday 21 November 2021 in halls 5, 6, 7 and 9 of Brussels Expo. The classic car fair traditionally attracts many buyers and enthusiasts. All registrations for the 2020 edition remain valid for the 2021 edition as well as already purchased entrance tickets.
