Major engine issues with Eldorado(?) convertible? (Upd. 1977 Lincoln Continental )

Check this out when visiting the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao (Spain). It's the installation 'Palms' by  John Bock and part of 'The Daskalopoulos Collection 'The Luminous Interval'  It's a far out piece of art; imagine you have to transport this item... Anyway we were not in the position to get close enough to the vehicle to make an accurate ID. Can you help?
