If you ask us to be terribly honest, we'll have to admit that in the past we have never particularly liked the VW Karmann Ghia. Oh, it's a good car, no problem, but when your editor was young they were seen as dressed-up Beetles and therefore to be dismissed as not being a 'classic car'. Yet, as time goes by, the Karmann Ghia has grown on us and today we really do like it for what is... a very nice looking car that has it's very own band of followers. And quite right they are! The 1971 Coupe seen here will be offered by H&H during their auction on February 26. It has had only four owners from new and comes with the later 1.6-litre 60bhp engine. Not only a 'looker', but also a 'mover'! Check it out, it's lot number 75.
