More than a hundred and ten years old or not — girls adore Maseratis. And Maserati knows it all too well. Let’s be honest — whenever there’s a reason to throw a party, the brand with the trident always manages to find a beautiful lady eager to be immortalised alongside their cars. And most of the time, that lady is none other than supermodel Jodie Kidd.
Jodie promotes their clothing line.
Jodie launches their watch collection.
Jodie races their cars.
Jodie presents their new models.
Jodie walks the red carpet on behalf of Maserati.
And if there’s no special reason — well, Jodie just poses in the street. Because she can. And because it works.
But let’s be honest: are there any alternatives? Jodie is charming, but she’s no classic.
How about Britt Ekland? A reunion between Britt and Maserati would be truly elegant.
Britt was the Jodie of the sixties — equally elegant, equally unstoppable, and just as susceptible to Italian temptation. When she once spotted a Mistral in a sunlit showroom, she instantly forgot her faithful Triumph Spitfire. She simply had to let her delicate silhouette melt into that refined bodywork. That’s what we call true love.
Come on, Maserati. After all these years, doesn’t such a loyal muse deserve a small tribute?
