Making progress, yet the clock is ticking...

Earlier we reported about the work in progress on the 1968 Shanghai which is still full in the proces of restoration in order to  participate in the Beijing to Shanghai Classic Car Challenge China. In reality the work on the car is further as these photos were made just prior to the weekend. Currently the technicians are working day and night, and as you can see the progress is clear. Here another outside view of somebody detailing the rear. And a few hours later what he did the result of his labour. Whether the lovely blue period clock is working already we don't know. But in the words of driver/navigator Erik van Ingen Schenau:  "...it should read that it is 5 minutes to twelve!"
