Mint Monaro

When Bonhams Australia holds their inaugural auction at Melbourne, it comes as no surprise that there should be at least one Australian-made Holden in the sale. This time it’s a 1970 Holden HT Monaro 308 GTS Coupe that was built in the Port Elizabeth plant with a 308-cid engine with four-barrel Rochester carburettor, four-speed Saginaw manual gearbox and 3.36:1 Salisbury limited slip-diff. The Holden has only had two owners from new and is still in remarkable condition. It will be offered on October 23rd during the RACV Motorclassica.
