Mystery Simca/Gnome-Rhone Racer (update: Simca 5 or Topolino)

Posted by Vincent "Vintage Montlhery" Chamont; he likes to learn more about this french built single seater. The chassis is prewar Simca 5 (1936). The engine is a 800 cc Gnome & Rhone (1940-45). Not unthinkable this could be one of the racers conceived by René Chaix, but there is not any proof for that. Can anybody of you shed some light in this?
