One month to go until InterClassics Maastricht 2026

In just a short while, Maastricht will once again set the stage for four days of classical beauty, modern exclusivity and pure automotive craftsmanship. Exactly one month from now, the doors will open for InterClassics Maastricht 2026 – a fixture on the calendar of enthusiasts of historic and contemporary automotive design. This year, the fair once again promises a refined mix of icons, rarities and stories that have shaped automotive history.

Still looking for a stylish gift? With a ticket, you give more than access: you offer a day full of inspiration, engineering and history, to be enjoyed together.

Plan smart, reap the benefits: new evening ticket

Those who plan their visit wisely will get the most out of the fair. New this year is the evening ticket on Thursday (4:00–8:00 pm) and Friday (4:00–10:00 pm). During these hours, the atmosphere is noticeably calmer and you benefit from a more attractive rate. Saturday and Sunday remain traditionally the busiest days, ideal for those seeking the full exhibition experience.

Cars you should not miss

Toyota Celica ST185 Group A – Safari legend

We kick things off with a true WRC icon: the Toyota Celica ST185 Group A. This particular example, campaigned by Toyota Team Europe, played a leading role in the legendary 1–2–3–4 result at the 1993 Safari Rally. With local hero Ian Duncan behind the wheel, the car finished an impressive third overall.

Fully restored and presented in its original Safari livery, this is one of the most successful Celicas in World Rally Championship history. A rare and tangible piece of rally heritage, presented by the Louwman Museum.

Lexus LFA – Japanese perfection in its purest form

Built just 500 times and now regarded as a modern classic: the Lexus LFA. Its naturally aspirated 560 hp V10, lightweight CFRP body and ceramic brakes make it a technical masterpiece. Every detail was meticulously hand-checked according to Lexus philosophy.

Tested on the Nürburgring and built in the ultra-modern Motomachi factory, the LFA stands as a milestone in design and material innovation. While its original list price was around €375,000, examples now change hands for between €700,000 and €1 million. The displayed car is particularly special: a pre-production model from the Louwman Museum.

Autozam AZ-1 – small in size, big in character

The Autozam AZ-1 proves that driving pleasure is not defined by size. This Japanese Kei sports car immediately stands out thanks to its playful lines and iconic gullwing doors. Within the strict Kei regulations – ultra-compact, lightweight and efficient – Mazda’s Autozam sub-brand managed to create a car with a strong personality and a unique place in Japanese automotive history.

Brief explanation: a Kei car is an ultra-compact Japanese vehicle category with strict limits on size and engine displacement, designed for maximum efficiency in densely populated urban environments.

InterClassics Maastricht 2026 once again promises to be an event where enthusiasts, collectors and connoisseurs come together around cars with a story. From raw rally heritage to refined Japanese high-tech and charming cult classics: this is a show you won’t want to miss. Mark the date, plan smart – and be surprised.
