Not One but Two Prizes for a Rover

Stuart Penketh writes that at a recent Concours d'Elegance near Bangkok, Thailand his Rover P4 100 won not one but two first prizes! They were 'Best Original Vehicle' and 'Best in Class' which were according to Stuart just an excuse as he's not allowed to compete for the next three years. Stuart is seen here with his friend Somchai and says: "He is my conscience to keep working on my car! Here in Thailand, there is a very strong old car/vehicle following, with people discovering, not only a lot of old American cars and trucks, but also a lot of British and European cars. It is very expensive to import cars here (some 300%), so unless you are very rich, people tend to make do and mend. Congratulations with your win, Stuart, judging by the other cars in the concours you had some stiff competition.
