Postwar X-mas Puzzle day 1

The year 2016 is almost behind us. But please don’t be sad, as this is the time for our annual Postwar Christmas Puzzle! Quite simple this time. What we are going to show you is an historical figure, a king, a queen, a goddess or maybe just someone you, as an auto addict, should know. It’s up to you to guess the make of automobile he or she added her name to. It can be the make itself, or a model name. To participate it’s enough to mention the make, but extra points can be earned by adding the model name (where appropriate). An example? Okay, when we show a picture of the granddaughter of the Italian chairman Romano Aritioli, you should know that the Lotus Elise was named after her. Difficult? Yes, but we’ll promise the quiz will be easier.

Seen here is a Greek goddess, primarily known as the goddess of wisdom and the goddess of art. Her name is often spelled with two words, of which the first one was used by a French automobile manufacturer for several of their top-end models. What we want to hear from you is the name of this automobile and preferably model and type.

Write it down, but please DO NOT send us your answer before the last puzzle has been published. Of course you can contact us on all other topics, because our office is always staffed! From the participants with all answers correct, six names will be drawn at random. All six winners will receive the famous PostWarClassic T-shirt. Good luck and if you like quizzes, why not try your hand at the PreWarCar Christmas Quiz. Enjoy this holiday season!
