The sports car in part 3 of our six-day puzzle came straight from the barn to an exhibition, at least that’s what they wanted us to believe. This well rotten example was produced between May 1955 and February 1963 and is shown here with the optional removable hardtop. Its model name consisted of three digits plus two letters that meant ‘sports’ and ‘light’ in its native language. Of course we have taken out the emblems on the bonnet (or hood) and the hubcaps, otherwise this would be too easy.
Write down the name of this automobile, but please DO NOT send us your answer before the last puzzle has been published. Of course you can contact us on all other topics, because our office is always staffed! From the participants with all answers correct, four names will be drawn at random. All four winners will receive the famous PostWarClassic T-shirt. Good luck and if you like quizzes, try your hand at the PreWarCar Christmas Quiz. Enjoy this holiday season!
