Walking through the british countryside one can expect to find some abandoned machinery. Old tractors, ploughs, Land Rovers -or Austin Champs- and even some trucks. But which one doesn´t suspect is to find three old fiberglass sports cars in the middle of nowhere, but as you can see in the pictures it sometimes happen! This trio of 1970s Lotus cars comprises an early Elite and two Eclat, one of them literally buried in the bushes (see photo 2). The other two cars seem to be in much better conditions, being even possible candidates to a restoration job, if we consider the rustproof fiberglass bodies. Nothing is known about its owner, but perhaps in the shed located close to the cars we could find an indoors Lotus collection? We will never know, but anyway there wasn´t any easy entrance from the main road to this concrete place, or traces of recent car visits either. Probably the nature will gobble down the cars soon, so we can only suggest to enjoy the photos of its current conditions. Someday they will dissapear.
