Shapes you cannot improve on

When VW’s engineers created the Beetle, they took a long hard look at the egg as it had the perfect streamlined shape. For years and years they didn’t feel the need to change the design. But when they did, again it took them many years to see the error of their ways and thus the designers returned to their original point of view!
