Spotted between Stuttgart and Franfurt this very well maintained fresh "6.3 litre". Most will overlook the understated long legged distance killer. Insiders will spot the "6.3" from far as the same engine as used in the stateman's 600 but now used in the much lighter 300SEL, basically the same car as a 280 SE. Primarily meant for the V8 hungry US market the guzzler saloon has become Merc's proverbial wolf in sheeps clothing. For those who still find the 300 SEL 6.3 a bit modest, the next model gave even better numbers...: 450SEL 6.9 litre.
