Stuart Fennimore is looking for Fiat 124 owners from the UK or abroad. He is tv-producer working on an exhibit for the forthcoming London Classic Car Show at the Excel Centre in January next year. This exhibit focuses on 'The Cars That Changed the World', and we would very much like to include a 1966 Fiat 124 Saloon.
These cars seem to be particularly rare on in Britain, but I’m hoping someone might know of a good example of a Fiat 124 either in the UK or in Europe, that we might be able to include in our exhibit at the show. The show itself is open from 8th – 11th January 2015, so we would ideally be looking to have the car arrive at The Excel Centre on 6th January to give us plenty of time to position and light it, and it would be free again from the night of 11th to return to its home.
If you would like to read a little more about the show I’ve attached this link. Do give me a call if you have any questions, you can contact me on +44 (0)7732 868 860 any time or per e-mail at stuartf@brandevents.co.uk

editorial note: to modern eyes the 124 may look quite bland and average. but mind you in 1966 the lightness and transparecy of the box design gave the car a sense odf modernity and elegance. Believe it or not, the very first car your editor drove was a Fiat 124. And alo with a Brindisi registered car. Just like the one above. My father rented the car from Autonoleggio on our family easter holiday. I still can remember the crisp exhaust note of the car...
