Mr. Quirós Estremera (the man in the photos), a collector who started a car collection in the late 60s. He managed to gather a very large number of pre-war and post-war cars, many of them very interesting: Hispano-Suiza, Talbot Lago, Panhard-Levassor or Mercedes were some of his preferred marques. All the cars were well saved in sheds... until he got into problems with the banks. High interests in some of the loans made it impossible to pay for the unlucky owner of the collection, whose plan was to open a museum.
Due to the adverse circumstances, the cars were transferred to an open courtyard, located in the wet north of Spain. The bad weather conditions quickly started to take grip of of the cars, and in the early 90s, after less than 10 years outside, the conditions were as sad as you can see in the main photo. Another 10 years later some afficionados visited the remains, and what was left could be considered as impossible to restore. Today's condition of most of the cars is the worst possible: buried under dense bushes (photos 6 and 7)... But don´t cry over spilled milk, the oldest and most valuable cars have mysteriously dissapeared. Future history will unveil their story.
