In the early postwar days many engineers tried to develop cars with very advanced engineering, sometimes mixing aeronautical techniques. This is the case of this week´s puzzle, but really the most interesting feature of this huge machine is under its bonnet. The chassis is american, but we won´t tell you the concrete origins. The rest of the car is "Made in France", and was assembled in order to compete in the first postwar race which was celebrated after the War in a southwestern French street circuit. Contrary to expectations, this bright "whale" managed to win its category, and due to a very restricted period use today it´s in mostly original conditions. In the rear tail you can read some clues about the paternity of this machine... question is who of you knows it and manages to add some nice bonus facts in their 100-words answer, preferably from own sources.
