The global magazine and marketplace for classic car enthusiasts, by enthusiasts.
We found this picture in a magazine from the early 1950's, hence the awful quality of the picture. Yet it's an interesting one, as it clearly shows how people were thinking of producing small cars. Although this one looks more like an autoscooter, it is supposed to be a real car that could carry two grown-up in relative comfort. The article reports that this tricar showed good performance results on the circuit of Francorchamps. Problem is that we don't know if this one ever became more than a prototype. The factory that made it, started with leftover parts from an American motorcycle manufacturer, and later became well-known for assembling scooters and tricyles. Can you tell us under which name these scooters were marketed? And the name of the company that produced them? These names will be sufficient, but as always the winner will be the one who can tell us more. Send us your answer by using the comment box below before Monday, March 31 and please use no more than 100 words. Enjoy this weekend!
