As so often it’s a two-sided tale, with the development of the thing bringing its famous manufacturer to the edge of bankruptcy. The car you see here was an all-important part in that side of the story. The other bit is what you'll read in reports today. It's about the eventual launch - in the poshest of New York venues - and about the rich and famous embracing it.
