It looks like a full custom, yet this isn't a one-off. Or maybe it was. That depends how you look at it. Our puzzle car indeed started life as a custom car, sporting a Corvette V8, electric doors and a removable hardtop. When it was presented at a big car show, it received much attention from the public. So much so that the builders decided to offer the fiberglass body in kit form. You could use your own chassis, provided it had a 106 inch wheelbase. Apart from your choice of engine, you needed a Ford Thunderbird windscreen and 1955-1956 Buick taillights. When this was too much trouble, it could also be bought completely assembled. Anyway, when finished the car looked terrific, check here for the rear end.
