In total, 29,664 MG TDs were produced between 1950 and 1953. Among these, the TD Mark II (or TD2), introduced in 1952, had more power and was a rarer, higher-performance version.

The very nice and complete MG TD/C MKII was supplied new to the USA, there is not early history with the car but it is all matching numbers.

We are aware of the car being owned by a Oriental Lady who commissioned the car to a total restoration for concours show and events. The car was shipped to China for a concours event and then returned to Nevada where it was sold to the current owner.

The car was imported into the UK in May 2025 and is now in the registration process.
