Vintage and Prestige are proud to be offering this 1961 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud II SCT100 by James Young for sale. Ordered new by Sir Bracewell-Smith who, along with owning the Park Lane Hotel was also the Chairman of Arsenal Football Club, hence the registration plate, AFC27.

The Rolls Royce Silver Cloud II was previously owned by the son of the second owner who bought it used from Jack Barclay having part exchanged his Humber Imperial. This is one of the most original SCT100 cars I have had the pleasure of handling.

Carpets, rugs and all leather work are original in the same condition they were when they came from James Young. A complete continental touring spares kit comes with the Rolls Royce Silver Cloud II and is available by separate negotiation. It is untouched with its original tissue paper covering every single item still in their original place.

The Rolls Royce Silver Cloud II is finished in its correct colour scheme of light and medium grey. The darker paint has, at some stage been redone, whilst the lighter paint work has not changed since is it came from the coach builders. The paint is all in excellent condition. The interior leather is pale grey and in good useable condition with a patina consistent with fifty years of age.

Large swathes of Burr walnut cover the interior surfaces all of which are highly polished and in beautiful condition. Twin picnic tables fold out from the division bulkhead. The division itself purrs up and down at the touch of a button. The Rolls Royce Silver Cloud II has covered 126,000 warranted miles from new. It drives beautifully just as a Silver Cloud should do and simply wafts one down the road.

Numerous papers come with the Rolls Royce Silver Cloud II including the bill of sale to the second owner by Jack Barclay. Mechanically, the Rolls Royce Silver Cloud II is in excellent condition having been correctly maintained during its life. The Rolls Royce benefits from being fitted with air conditioning.
