A 1952 Bentley MkVI Standard Steel Saloon.
Blue over Silver with grey leather interior.
The Bentley MkVI was the first production car produced by Roll-Royce and Bentley subsequent to the cessation of hostilities in 1945, and was the first vehicle offered by them with a factory supplied body. Originally introduced with a 4.25L engine, it was later uprated to 4.5L.
This example has been used continuously since its acquisition in 2018. Despite its size and weight, these cars are renown for their ease and smoothness of driving – the controls falling readily to hand, the manual gearbox a delight, and with plenty of power in reserve. Extensive work was carried out during the vendors ownership, and the history file reflects this attention.
